Hi

You might be thinking "zzzZzzz It's a straight line, boooring" and that's what I thought too. Until I went and done it.

After my first session at the weekend, I'll be going back in 2 weeks time if anyone fancies it? You don't have to have a flash bike, be an experienced rider or have balls of steel. It's just an ace experience and you can perfect your controlled starts. No real pressure to beat the other person, you do what you're comfortable with in a reasonably controlled environment. No worries about running into the back of a parked car, little kiddies running out in front of you etc.

Anyone fancy it? I went with a few off another forum and will do this time as well. All welcome although it's best to book in advance. Would be good to meet a few other BCF'ers from down south.

It's £10 to go watch or an additional £20 to 'race'. We got in about 11 runs on Sunday which I reckon is good value. Although I have heard people getting a lot more throughout the day.

If I get the air-intakes back on my zx9 (the current petrol funnel only works up to about 90mph), could be tempted, though probably be diverted by off-roading.

11 races I don't think is that great value personally - go to other events and you can often get pretty much as many as you want, definitely a lot more than that. However, it is conveniently close and regular Smile.
