im wondering if anyone could help me out on this... im planing on resrapying my fairing on my bike

DT125r 1998
iv looked on my manual for the colour code to get the exact colour but i havnt found anything. looked all over on the plastics theres no numbers or anything....

its just that the old glue makes the bike looks old and taty, iv tryed T-cut, useless... lol

so my last resort is respray.

On my bike the colour code is under the seat on the frame, dont know if thats the case with yours?

Have you asked the dealer? I have not had much joy in the past with my Triumph. A local spray specialist did match by trial and error though.

Spell cheque on here works good too.... Laughing

Is it because of the old glue you are respraying it? Brake cleaner or tar remover will get it off.

Seriously wouldnt bother respraying anything other than the tank on a DT, The plastics are designed to have a bit of flex and as soon as they do, The paint will crack and fall off.
