Two GCap digital stations closed

GCap Media, the UK's biggest commercial radio broadcaster and owner of Classic FM, is to close two digital radio stations, as it focuses on key outlets.

The Jazz and Planet Rock are to go, and GCap's stake in Digital One, a national broadcasting platform for digital stations, will be sold to Arqiva.

I'm really pissed off at this. The best digital radio station going is going to get shut because some twat in a suit doesn't think it has enough growth potential. I just spent £200 on a a dab radio just to listen to the station and now they announce this.
All we'll be lift with is shitty bbc channels and local radio playing the same of top ten turd. So much for diversity.

Shocked

Planet Rock is the reason I bought a DAB radio. Fucking gutted. Crying or Very sad

How will I get up without Alice Cooper's dry humour and awesome playlist in the morning?

Twats. Big bunch of twats. Mad

Planet Rocks website says it's (radio station) for sale. So hopefully some rich geezer will snap it up. It's the only radio station on my favourites centre. Crying or Very sad
