Bad luck.
You have now learnt wet grass = zero grip.
Rear sliding should be controlable though, backing off throttle usually brings it back into line. Or dab foot out.
Sounds like you kept the throttle pinned if its was slapping you around. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

g to consider that but also try your idea as well.
Cheers all
Another note,
when you crash like that is it usual for the chain to become unusually slack? |
No reason why it should, but when I dropped mine it did, and I think WTD said his monkey bike's chain went slack after a little spill.
I believe the tankslapper, but not the highside
Incidently riding across grass in the ice I did this morning. Second gear (first is too jumpy) both feet down, don't brake to brake, slip the clutch. If you lock up on ice, theres nothing to regain the traction, so over you go
Pyro
Edit: Just remembered what I was going to say, rear slid out earlier when I was pulling out from a junction, before I realised I was doing it I had put both feet down and let stabilised it. The handlebars do look bent. I'm guessing they didn't used to be like that.
For now get some superglue and put the panel back together. It will hold it together and make the bike more presentable until you get a new panel That's if you want a new panel. I'm happy with my superglueing |
