 |
|
been looking into ways to make the seat on my XR650R more comfortable have heard of people using sheep skin covers instead of having a custom seat made or adding gel pads etc, any one on here used one for long distance riding before?
was about to send my seat off to be reshaped but for this price its a great saving.

Just do what John did and cut up and old sheep skin coat, you can probably get them down a charity shop fairly cheap. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. Bit ghey though init? My dad had one in his car in the 70's (when they were fashionable) to keep his back warm after he slipped a disc. Unless you got wicked piles I think it'll be more trouble than it's worth. ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen... |

He's thinking of putting it on it for 'long journeys' - does make a worthwhile difference if your on the bike for hours on motorways especially. |
Doing this route for 5 weeks starting 31st may
