Just passed my DAS - after not being on a bike for two weeks since my last test was cancelled I'm quite pleased.

My general riding before the test was ok, no major errors but not pristine. U-turns I have always been good at thanks to the advice on these forums and the emergency stop was spot on.

On the test there a few interesting moments, including buses trying to pull out in front of me and dust bin men waving me passed their truck when they'd parked in front of bollard. lol

The examinar was an old boy on a BWN, his instructions were loud and clear and the radio was very good. It was just like a ride out the with instructor only with better radios.

Skint at the moment so looking for a very very cheap hack to get to work on. Then i'll be after a CBR600F or ZZR600 to travel Europe in June.

Congratulations on passing the DAS. It's a life changing thing!!

I'm in the market for a CBR600F at the moment. I'm looking at spending about £3.5K so it's looking like a 2001/2002 bike.

Chris.

Cheers guys.

Awesome feeling, shame the weather was crap and that I don't have bike waiting for me.

I've got a whole £200 at the moment towards a hack to get me to work, will consider anything while waiting for my first real big bike.
