Hey

Well last couple of weeks there's been a really strange noise coming from the front of my derbi senda sm.

At first i thought it might be something loose behind the clocks, because i changed the blub, tried moving things around no different, got really bad, could feel it through the bars of the bike.

Recently went for a nice ride over weekend and it stoped, couple of days later it was back even worst! its become useless and i cant deal with it anymore Sad, so decided to have a look, lent the bike over on the side stand and spun the wheel, theres the clicking clunk clang click noise when spun, thought it might be the speedo cable catching, so moved that up and nothing still, might been the spokes but cant see any problems. But then im a newbie Laughing

It doesnt effect the bikes handling at all or performance.

Could it be bearings gone or on thier way out?

Going to take the front wheel of tomorrow, grease the spindle, change the pads and have a good look at it! Any ideas would be great please.

Cheers Kris.

Sounds like the bearings are shot Thumbs Up

Had a bearing start to break down on me on a trip in the western isles - Took the wheel off and greased it up (Best i could do!) survived all the way home. Wheel clicked every time the wheel turned at the same point.

Would that affect the handling of the bike tho?

My old man reckons its the speedo drive catching somewhere?

Cheers Kris.

Took it for a ride up and down the street as i didnt have time to take the wheel of Sad. Can't feel it from the handle bars anymore, just can hear it from 5mph to 35mph then it stops after 40mph. Really strange this, anyway tomorrow after college, taking it off see whats happening Smile.
