Any chance of having a bike gear/parts chat area? So people can discuss helmets, gloves, boots, leathers, accessory's, stuff like that?

And also so people can recommend stuff and review different equipment?

Oh dear.

I realize your new etc.... but this whole topic is a bit of a dodgy subject right now.

People try but not many other put the effort in, best advice is start a thread in "Show & Tell" and hope people contribute. Thumbs Up

Alternatively you could use the 'Genreal Bike Chat' area as that's pretty much what it's for.

I understand, maybe some problems with it, just it's not difficult to add another sub-section. The only reason i suggested this is because 'General bike chat' would be about random story's ect.

Personally i think that the general bike chat is to general, however not really a complaint more of trying to suggest narrowing down a very broad area.

I and lots of other people on this forum don't like/want a forum with a really large number of sections.

Show & Tell:
Ideal for reviews where people have taken a bit more time over their posts.
If you're talking about well-written reviews of equipment, this is the place to put and look for it.
There is a 'catalogue' thread at the top, which should have all decent threads listed in. Please link to a thread if it is not listed in here.

The Workshop:
For technical bike related stuff.

General Bike chat:
Anything relating to bikes that's not mechanical based.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 18 years, 6 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
