Well for the comedy value i decided to see what dobles in coulsdon would recommend, they said i would need an entire new left hand fork at a cost of 911.47 including vat and plus fitting
Think im never going to go back there again, when i mention rechroming he suddenly looked surprised and said they couldnt arrange for it.....
Going to let them fix my clutch then take it to another local dealer for the rest of the work.

Burnt it out Im not exactly the burnout master and messed one up, the clutch wasnt exactly perfect before that anyway.
On the bright side once the fork and clutch are done there isnt much work i could possibly do to it wouldnt pass an mot through with the current exhaust....

I think that you need a special tool to replace RVF/VFR clutches. You also don't need springs like most other bikes, so it's just a case of replacing the plates. I never had to do it on my RVF, but it's always good practice to do it yourself. ____________________ TiN

Ah, okay.
Though worst case you take it to the shop when you messed it up and say 'you sort it' (ignoring how you get it there ) |
