newbie saying hi

hi lads

im new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself, im 28 married with two sons, 3 and 4 year old, new to the biking scene with my first big bike a hyosung gt650r, whilst on the subject i just want to add a few points about the bike:

brakes- they arent the best but with an upgrade in pads and braided lines they are a hell of a lot better

parts- readily available from your dealers, if not in stock they come from korea and are available to fit within the week

reliability- i havent had a problem in a year of ownership and ive done 6 track days with the bike last year!!!

performance- the bike will top out at 138mph , i know this isnt spectacular but for a v-twin its good, i know this isnt a true speed as the clocks compensate say 10% but it still shifts well

sv650 engine-its a myth the bikes engines are not the same, hyosung made parts for suzuki under license suzuki since 1978 and for other japanese manufacturers, so you may well have hyosung parts on your jap bikes!!!! the only part on the bikes that the 650r and sv650 share are the carbs! the hyo is more powerful than the sv650 both in top end and acceleration proven on the track aswell to the sv owners annoyance

well thats it im sure ill take a bit of flack for my choice of bike but im a big boy and i can take it, if anyone has any questions or is thinking about purchasing a hyo let me know and i can hopefully help you out.

I think 138 is fast enough for UK roads, u dont really need much more really.

yeah i did that and spell checked because it keeps coming up with those bloody warning messages about karma!! but i didnt realise that having an embedded item was disabled but i know now so ill just use a link instead for future links the bike may be up for sale in a couple of months, im undecided yet, im interested in a 675 or cbr 600rr
