Needs <£300 repairs to pass MOT, 1 of the cam-chain tensioners needs adjustment.
repairs needed are:
exhaust from breakers (or original re-welded)
RH 'rearset' as is split in 2 (help up with zippy clips and leather belt Smile )
L+R mirrors.

Has done about 25k, it's G-reg, black.
Also front fairing cowl is cracked down 1 side.

Hmm, no-one gonna want this are they?!! bugger Sad

well it's there if anyone has any offers, but collection is a must as no MOT.
South east region, near Croydon, Surrey.
It's been prepped down for winter, kept in garage at the mo.

I haven't the time to repair it as i have full time girlfriend and job.
Anyone have any ideas as to what it's worth?

Cheers
Adam

You don't need mirrors for a MOT AFAIK. The biggest problem is the cam chain tensioners I would have thought... I would expect standard aftermarket exhausts are available at fairly reasonable prices.

That would involve having welding equipment and welding skills.. *You* might be able to weld for nothing, but that's another matter Smile

yeah, the whole £300+ for the welding equipment is a bit OTT for the job.
i could get it done be somebody, but then i'd have to arrange for the thing to be taken there, and back.
do you think i'd be able to get an old exhaust from a breakers for about £100?
As for the engine, it's needed a service for a while now but my original funds for that went onto fixing it after a minor crash, which bent the rear wheel, bent handlebar and smashed throttle/electrics on RHS. (got one from a breakers for £70 using partsearch, incl delivery)

Thing is, i really don't have the time to fix it up, and i can't just keep taking days off work for things to be delivered.
letting my local dealer know it needs £300 repairs he offered about £400, but only if i part-exchange it.

I love this bike, and it'd be amazing after getting braided hoses, race can and dynojetting.
