I'm in need of a 400, my boyfriend and I are on the lookout for a decently priced 400 (somewhere in the region of £1000 up to £1500).

If anyone has one for sale (preferably a GSXR, but that's not essential), or knows of one PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know

my local bike shop has a very clean GSXR400 going for about 700 quid if you take me along, it needs a new secondary coil dropped in i think, and the carbs cleaned, but its a good bike - used to belong to a mate of a mate, he said it was great. sold it to the bike shop, some gypsies nicked it and joyrode it, and the shop never bothered repairing it, but the plastics are nice.
tell me if your interested, i'll give you their number.

It's for the boyfriend. He needs a bike - it's no fun, he simply refuses to go on the back of the CBR.

Unfortunately I'm being very mean (I don't want him to have a better bike than me!) I should have made him have the pink RF!!! (SOrry Dean)

GSXR seems interesting though, I'd like to see that.

Explain how he really needs to get aloan for a 1000cc VRaptor ... then tell him he can't haev it for a couple of years because it's too powerfull

Well, the Rf's definately slower than my bike ... I'll consult the old boy meself and give you a call if he is interested


G - I tried that. I told him what he really needed was a brand new R6..... that obviously he wouldn't be able to ride it for a while so someone wouldhave to look after it (ride it keep it serviced etc), and I would happily help him do that... hmmmm, he saw straight through that - his answer being "I don't want your stupid little CBR" () well I tell you now -he got a kick in the shin for that one!
