I know from a pilot friend that he saw lots of the CIA planes parked up here at airports. Well that, or someone else has a large fleet of plain white 373s, with long range fuel tanks.

The government is like a lot of people, they will break the law if they can get away with it.

They will lie if they can get away with it.

However in America there are rules about making information available to the public and thats the only reason that our government got caught out.

The irony is, we are taking part in doing exactly what Saddams government did to stop enemies of his regime.

We imprison without trial suspects on the flimsiest of evidence in the hope that among the suspects locked up, there may be a few bad guys who we are stopping do bad things.

We turn a blind eye to suspects being taken places where they arent protected by the law so they can be interrogated. Only pain equal to that of organ failure is classed as torture for these guys, so any other inhumane treatment is sanctioned, and Im sure a lot of the time stuff that hasnt been sanctioned will be allowed.

I suspect that aswell as allowing this sort of thing to happen from our soil, we hand over information that is used to give the CIA reason to kidnap people.

The only difference between us and the bad countries is the scale on which we do it, a bit less than a country fighting for its survival under a dictator under attack from all sides.
