hello guys i need advice i currently ride an SV 1000n and i love the Vtwin power and noise BUT i would like something a little quieter for those lesser moments in riding .....

i had the ninja`s and the gsxr`s
but should i buy a hayabusa i love the look the styling and most things about the bike even the old ones still have the look....

but should i buy one ? anyone had any bad times or dealing with them ?
ive not test rode one so maybe they ride like a boat in mud ?

convince me either way please

How tall are you? Long-legged people tend to suffer cramps on the 'busa.

One thing you need not worry about is the engine. They have probably the strongest engine fitted into a bike. Absolutely unbreakable by normal means.

The handling is good for a large bike and though it will feel a little heavier than your SV it won't be so top-heavy so I think it would compae nicely. Definately a wider bike though, it will lean far enough to scrape the fairings, which is quite a way over.

The downside of any 'busa up to the new '08 model is certainly the brakes. They seem to be variable, some are good and others very poor. Many people upgrade the Master Cylinder for a big improvement, also fit Bendix Pads.

One thing's for sure - any faults the bike might suffer will be forgiven each time you wind the throttle on - the mid-range pull of the 'busa engine is quite astounding. Plenty of bargains to be had right now around the £3000 mark.
