I am going to be buying, maybe soon but possibly a long time away. From the list below you can see the sort of thing I am looking for but I would appreciate your input!

1/ Honda CB1300 - Quite like it but it looks a bit bland.

2/ Yamaha XJR1300 - My current favourite

3/ Honda ST1100 Pan European - A bit Toury but a definite maybe

4/ Kawa ZRX1100 - Looks nice but I dunno!

Well just what is you intended type of riding.

I'm sort of guessing you like touring from the bike choice, but does the bike get used for anything else.

Best looker by far is the ZRX1100/1200 but I got bored with mine very quickly. All of them are barges when it comes to handling and you need to hustle them to make serious progress.

Test ride them all, I would never buy a bike without taking it out for half an hour.

I would suggest that you test rides the bikes on similar roads that you intend to use a bike on.

Reading other peoples opinions is useful, but cant beat how you find a particular bike.
