I looked on the website and can only see one for 86-93, would the principles in this manual apply to my NSR which was registered in 2002?? If not can anyone recommend a good manual that will tell me how to do even the real basic stuff like oil changes etc because I am absolutely clueless as far as bike mechanics are concerned and know that I better learn pretty soon unless I wanna keeo needlessly lining the mechanics pocket.....

I do believe you would want a manual for anything '94 onwards... Though I'm not entirely sure as I thought tha Foxeye models (JC22 - R*) started production in '96.
I have a 2000 NSR125R1 (JC22) and I'm pretty sure there are a few other variants (RR, RS, ??) But I don't think theres any significant difference between tha models.
