Nokia security codes

My Dad ( 69yrs) has lost the code for his phone and it is asking for the code. How do I find out the code or are there ways to go around it. Any help [please.

Is the phone asking for a PUK code?

If so you'll need to get the sim card number, the phone ID number and the telephone number of that phone and ring up your dad's service provider. Tell them your phone is asking for the PUK code and give them the information they need but be sure to write the code down incase it happens again!

By default 1234 or 0000. I think later ones are 12345
