Go back to pepipoo

Fill out the NIP Wizard

https://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?autocom=nipwizard

in full and post the results in the speeding forum

https://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=5

If there's an angle you'll get good advice there.

Don't mobile cameras take photo's from the front? How did they identify you, or did they look at local CCTV in the area from the time they caught you?

I am pretty sure mobile cameras just log the speed, the registration is then logged by the officer operating the camera.

Mobile cameras take pics from the rear too, my friend's sister got caught in her car from behind - pleaded NG and they sent her the pics. In fact the photos were taken quite a long way away from the van, I was really surprised about how far the range is.

No a fucking Ship's horn as you sail past the pair of bastards trapped in their wee van and heading for the seabed after being dropped in there...... Twisted Evil

43 in a 30 you will get nailed. You will be allowed a trigger speed of 33mph allowing 10% for speedo/camera error. But these things are calibrated for the win. It is rare that the police or the other shitheads (who lick each other's parts in the vans) would be caught on technicalities. Most of the challenge I read about is circumstantial case law stuff which operators guard against now.
Camera vans can do you up the Gary too. Shocked

You can try pepipoo but I would guess you're onto a bag of rice.

43 in a 30 is mental anyway. IMO Wink

After you got out of hospital (For the right good kickin' the polis gave you) You would most likely be looking at jail or at least a mingin' fine and definite ban.

But mitigation may count. You could say, you were absolutely bursting for a pee, were onto a promise with one of the spice girls or your dad is a magistrate.

Well you would not get chance for off No 10..... Embarassed
Not only speeding, but expect a DD offence as well.

Have a look Here for the guidelines

Quote:
Limit 30 mph

Speed over limit and length of instant ban..
up to 20 mph > 28 days
up to 30 mph > 56 days
up to 40+ mph > 70+ days

Find out every single rule, regulation and guideline that you can - one will have been breached somewhere. I'm currently asking whether planning permission was granted for the camera that got me, if the fucker wasn't installed legally then there's no chance they're doing me!

A friend of mine got done recently for doing 104 in a 30 (also jumped a red light - although it was 2am)

The police were sitting ins a side road as they went flying past.

They ended up with a £300 fine and a 3 year ban!!!!

I doubt they knew the speeds at which you were traveling. I find it extremely hard to believe you got let off twice for being 100mph in excess of the speed limit Rolling Eyes

You are more than lucky to of not received a ban.

+1

Seems a bit jackanory but if it did happen they didn't have proof of the speed as if they did it would be an instant ban. . . . . and a long one.
