I am seriously contemplating buying one. Anyone who's had experience with them what are they like? How much work are they to keep working properly? Do they have any problems to be aware of?
Thanks ____________________ Nothing a hammer can't fix! |

they are great scrathing fun, but personally as a everyday tool..............not a chance, they had a tendancy to loose a circlip on the gudgeon pin, and knacker the barrel, have to rev the knackeres off them to make them go and become this can become tiresome, and changing pistons a rountine only use the best stroker oil. they can be a lot of fun but they can be a pain in the arse. would i buy one again................possibly......but for occasional use though i expect parts are getting rare now, so i would check out the availbilty of parts before you buy one. |

owned one. If you get one get a decent one, mine was in a dog of a state and in the end best place was to break it.
Only managed 500 miles out of it before i decided to break it but they are so awesome and makes me want another two stroke bike as a toy. ____________________ Past - CG125 ,KR1S, SV650s, Street Triple R - Current - Duke 390
