Assuming you have leathers of course.

As people are consistantly slagging off the bigger more expensive leather companies what do you have??

Just for the record I have an Alpinestars 2 piece. Cost me £550 new two years ago. Thumbs Up

I've got Hein Gericke Pro Sport ones, and some Crowtree made to measures.

The Crowtrees are a little tight these days, but they still just about fit. They unfortunately limit my KD potential though! Sad

But, despite the fit not being quite what it used to be, they are the very best in the business. I'd rather crash in those than the HG's.

Saying that the HG's are perfectly good for half the price of the Crowtrees, just that the legs are a little too long for 'lil ole me.

If I could have the loseness of the HG's with the length and quality of the Crowtrees, I'd have my ideal set of leathers.

Why not just get your Crowtree's altered? Should be relatively cheap.

I'm currently wear an Arlen Ness two-piece and have an old HG two-piece lying around somewhere.

I really rate my Arlen Ness and will seriously consider them again when I come to replace my current gear... Very Happy

Frank Thomas 2 piece. Not overly impressed tbh, stitching in some places is a bit iffy. Think my next set will be Arlen Ness or Alpinestars. Thinking

I have Dainese trousers and a Frank Thomas Jacket.

The trousers are awesome, can wear them all day, have sat in cinema with them on, no problems, awesome Thumbs Up

Jacket I can't say, as it's a summer one covered in air holes, and I bought it at the NEC, so havn't had good enough weather!

Not sure. Crowtree themselves probably won't do it, because they refuse to make alterations to make the leathers larger.

G knows someone who does leather alterations, but whether they will do the same triple stitching and quality workmanship as Crowtree is anyones guess... Plus I don't exactly know how expensive they are.

Its much easier to make a set of leathers that are too big fit you, than it is to make a set of leathers that are too small.

Hideout took the chest of my Alpinestars suit out by 2 inches to make it easier for me to wear a back protector. That cost me about £30-40 if I remember rightly. All double stitched again. Looked like new. That's why I trust them to make a full suit.

Got HG PSX-R leathers a couple of years ago when I first started riding. Cant remember how much they were exactly but they were under £300 for jacket and trousers. The quality seems fine and they have a "classic" look so you dont feel too much of a cock in them.

I've got some Ashman two piece leathers that I bought off ebay for £14 Thumbs Up I got them slightly oversize so that I can wear clothes underneath. I have had them a year now and they're still fine. I've also got a Dainese two piece set which I'm going to get repaired (busted zip) and altered so they fit me better 'cos its what I want to be wearing when I'm riding a bit quicker in the summer Smile

Going to the gym might make smaller leathers fit! Smile

I love my Crowtree leathers, even if I did get bruises from them when I first got them!
