Picked up this '91 KR1S at the beginning of last year. For its age it was mint, (especially considering the trend for most KRs to be crash damaged heaps) 16k, past mots and all original parts.

During the summer I decided, although it was in great condition, it was looking a little dull and really showing it age and having seen what some people had done with theirs I couldnt resist having a go...so out came the nitro morse, wet & dry and autosol
Stripped the paint of frame and polished it up followed by the wheel rims, yoke, clutch casing and cans.

thanks, yep 250 parallel twin 2T, goes like stink but handling is 'interesting' lol the 1st 2 photos wer taken 'before' but as i said it was already in good condition i just wanted to give it a little bit of a lift.

cheers guys, I really do love this wee bike even tho its barely seen the light of day for months, its just loads of fun. Ive also got a set of white wheels which look quite good too but I think the green w/ polished rims suit the styling of it, bit more retro lol
beatnck2, they can go for anything from 500 to 1500 quid roughly, this 1 was advertised at £1100, but the guy took my dads old 400 bandit that was sat in the shed doin noth nothin as a straight swap so i consider it a freebie
