I remember when I first saw these in Japan in 1990, it was the rear tyre that was the wow factor. Bikes suddenly went from skinny bicycle tyres to proper moto-GP type items, and Japan looked and sounded like a race-track. Shortly after that I bought my VFR, the first bike I owned with a 'proper' set of tyres. Laughing
