Of course, if one were sneaky, one would put them BEHIND the plate as I suspect the police would quickly cotton on to a flaring plate on their camera and find something to do you for.
So, make the 'visible' plate made from a thinner than normal material with small perforations in it, all done as a oner (so the black lettering is part of the yellow background) and illuminate it from behind so it appears as a white rectangle. Then stick a DIFFERENT number (like one off a police car, make it a real one so it doesn't trigger ANPR) on the back in thick lettering so it reads a different number on camera than it does when you look at it normally. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Stinkwheel: I'm not really with you, do you mean create one plate behind the other? How does this work? ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

Make the numberplate backing and letters from a material that is permeable to IR light and shine the IR LEDS through it from the back. This would make the numberplate 'Flare' into a white square on camera. To me, this alone would make you stand out to the police.
BUT (my cunning plan), on the REAR of the plate (out of sight), attach letters that are opaque to IR light showing a false numberplate. These would show up on the camera.
So, visually, you have a normal, legal numberplate which would stand up to all but the closest scrutiny if examined. On camera (assuming it is IR sensetive, which most of them are), you have a totally different one. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. i think ccty is a good idea. Around where I live, there are a lot around trouble areas where people get pissed and hit people.
Stupid thugs, dont notice or care about the cameras, and as its recorded, they cant deny it.
Police cant be everywhere, but if someone in the camera control centre spots something, they can send the police out before things get too serious and before the thug gets away.
A lad I used to work with got caught on camera beating someone up.
Im all for people getting done for that, as I dont go round hitting people. If I did, maybe I would disapprove of CCtv. ____________________ colin1 is officially faster than god |
