I have a 2006 R1 and I want to add velocity stacks and a K&N filter. Does anyone has knowledge about velocity stacks and if they would help or not. I have heard pros and cons, so let me know what you think. I already have a power commander and full termig pipe. Thanks for the help.

Try posting in in the Workshop section.
More likely to get some help that way.

velocity stacks although expensive are one of the best performance mods to do to the R1, as for the filter go with BMC or K&N.

it might also be worth going -1 on the front sprocket too too put it on Par with the GSXR's midrange.

Replace the middle 2 for more power thought the power band or replace all 4 for an extra 5hp on top end. Have a look around here https://www.r6-forum.com/ and see if anyones got any dyno graphs to see what effect they have.

I've got them on my R1 and they improve the mid range quite noticeably. But how they would be on the R6, I would have a clue.
