As some of you may know i removed my TLR's fork as the seal burst, getting them out wasnt too hard, they were a bit stiff and needed some whacking.

However i cant for the life of me figure out how to get them back in, hammering the bottom would be my obvious thought, but the suspention just compresses any blows.
Ive greased up the fork and the yokes alot.

HELP!

First off, make sure you've fully undone the yoke clamps, of course.
Then try wedging a screw driver in the gap and gently levering it apart as you push the fork in.

thats the keyword. it needs to be enough to get the fork in and not enough to crack or fracture the yokes. a flat blade screw driver should do the job.

hmmm,
got your fairings off?
will be alot easier to wedge the driver in and hopefully it will stay there on its own accord if there off.

No fairings would make no difference, done it now its alot easier if you have 2 people.

One wiggles the screw wedge, one wiggles the fork Smile.

Lube them up and 'screw' them back into place rather than trying to push them back in.
