For an NSR the tyre price is about right. My local cheapy tyre place would want £75~£80 fitted (probably to a loose wheel).
A chain and sprockets are alot cheaper than that. About £40 mail order for non O ring chain with sprocket, maybe £60 for an o ring chain with sprockets. They are not difficult to fit. We fitted a new chain to Dodds old Sym on Annas drive with just a few tools handy when the old one gave up the ghost while he was out.
