Well finally!
Here she is, 1989 GPZ 500, 23,00 miles tax and test 350 quid.
The ride home was nice, didnt get her above 60 really as it was rush hour but I will have a proper play tomorrow.

Thats tidy Thumbs Up

Was expecting it to have some obvious signs of wear and tear for that price but it looks good.

Yeah I just want to go out and play but I will leave it tucked up for the night, going to get a cover first thing tomorrow, I was going to today but for the price I didn't expect it to be that tidy so I never bothered.

She is in full view of any bloody scrotes walking past me back garden, but she has two brick walls in the way and the alley down the the side of the house is protected by an iron gate that is padlocked and another gate that is padlocked.

By the time anyone even thought of getting through I would hear em night or not.

It looked wrong somehow , and it twigged no belly pan, keep it under 90 lest you get horrible weave from disturbed aerodynamics.

Aye my last one had a bellypan and when I took it off I noticed no difference right up to full chat, from the experience of the last one I would assume its there for looks rather than anything.

I will get one though as I prefer them with it on.

You should see it when the "lipstick" comes out of the end!

Beats my two inches, but he doesn't know........................YET!

When I go outside for a fag I now smell petrol, still undecided whether its the smell of a bike which I have forgotten about, or actually leaking, I looked under the seat and found some clear plastic tubing in a packet. Shocked

Ah well will find out in the morning whether the bike leaks or the seller was just a mr sensible. Mr. Green

Aye just a couple of niggly thing that you dont notice till you go for a ride, the rad leaks when its warmed right up. The petrol smell will be coming from the petrol cap that does not lock, in fact the slot for the key has been filled in and its just open all the time.

And I just caught the valve on the rear tyre with my lock and it hissed out air, the temp gauge doesn't work and thats about it, nothing major just a couple of bits.

I really am struggling to decide about matt blacking her, in my eyes (and that matters) she would look sooo much better in matt black.

But I probably could have got 100 quid more for me last one if I left it red and white.

I am in such a quandary now, I really want to paint her, but I also want to leave it.

But I also want to rip it all off and make a black fighter/rat.

If you do 'fighter' it please do a show and tell on here, my mate has a GPZ250 like this https://blog.drecom.jp/minimoto_110/img/44/gpz250.jpg

she wants to de-fair and is struggling where to start (without me being local enough to get my mitts on it!!)

I think I may see out the summer and buy another bike as transport then get to work on mine.

If I make sure the other bike is a proper piece of poo it will encourage me to hurry up with the GPZ.
