There's normally some strange people there till after 3am. I think they're called students Laughing

And most Saturdays there are (drunken) people there at silly times, although I wouldn't count on them for good conversation Thinking

Sometimes I go in and there looks like no-one else in. Then when I type something it says I should join a room (WTF?) and when I type /join #bikechatforums nothing happens Confused

I had the same problem with it last week at work, so gave up and installed mIRC on my PC there Smile

Using a chat script or even the basic mirc will make it alot easier to join the chat room and will also offer you protection from netsplits, flooders and unwanted messages from other people on the server.

Flooders, we don't have a problem with generally, and even then it's not the end of the world.

And unwanted messages? "/ignore username" works well for me Smile
