Is this a good time, weather wise, to be travelling through Europe?

I'm looking to get away to the Nurburgring, camping, and then possibly down to the Alps / Stelvio for a couple of days. Hopefully from March 28th until April the 4/5th.

I'd like to know if the weather would be much better in May/June, I can't see why it would't be nice in March/April?

I'd also like to see about recruiting one or two other like minded riders who'd be up for this trip.

Thanks!

If you travel to the Alps in march it is more than likely the higher passes which are awesome wont be clear of snow.

It's far too early to be heading into the Alps. The south of France or Spain would be a better idea so early in the year Thumbs Up

last year we went to europe in June and we were very lucky that the about 60% of the passes were open. It was the first heat wave of the year..but it was still bloody cold up there in the hills.

Trying to do the alps now will be suicide.

My golden rule for touring the Alps on a motorcycle is "Don't go when people are skiing".
