was out last week egine had very loud top end rattle, the bike cut out after put petrol in, trook it home ajusted valves , took it a mile down the road cut out still wont start only back pop

Check the valves are all present and correct, had the rattle stopped when you adjusted them?

The fuelling issue sound like a blocked breather pipe.

True could be a pinched pipe when you put the tank back on.
