I think what Boris lacks in common sense is made up by being quite an intelligent guy.

I don't live in London so don't really have a stake in it, but there is the chance that he might actually end up being quite good at it, ergo; a bit boring.

I hope he does a good job but does it with his usual display of unique elan.
