I've got a road legal GasGas EC300. Whereabouts in Brighton are you? I'm in Woodingdean. I've just got back from the chalkpit near Lewes. If you fancy giving it a go, pm me. Also get yourself on to the s.e. forum, they regularly go greenlaning.
