ok ok craigy's dad found an airfeild lol

me old man has found an airfeild in hampshire (closer to southampton than basinstoke) that is still active but they only use small aircraft and they DONT use it at all on sundays Smile the old fart phoned them and they will allow us to use the site, provided we dont damage the holding area (so no burnouts on the taxi ways or on the holding pad....ZIMM!!!) they are fitted to use larger planes but dont anymore Smile this means they have a 1800ft runway \o/ more than enough room for flat out madness Razz

il have more details as soon as my old man e-mails them to me Smile

all the best

And craig, thats cool. sounds very very very cool Very Happy

Is there any tarmac there which they dont mind having burnouts on?

the run way lol....the run way is a hard kind of tarmac...and as aircraft lock there wheeles all the way down,i cant see BO's beeing a problem there.

the taxi ways are very very smooth exelent tarmac obviously.....and due to all airfeild going vehicles being forbidden to have overflows dripping on to the dec there should be no grease....so marking out a track with cones is a possibility..

that reminds me your have to put a coke can under your overflow pipes...or they may go mad lol
