I've just installed a new cable because it was showing 0mph at any speed and bobbing around!

Anyway I have a feeling I might have installed it wrong, as the new one does nothing at all! I tried putting all the cable I could into the speedo box at the top, and i've matched it at the bottom (the nicks in the cable so it can rotate it) so it connects, but i'm getting nothing!

Any help much appreciated...

Have you tried it on tha road?
I recently replaced tha speedo cable on my nsr after stretching my old one.
It bugged me because I connected it to tha bottom, and I wheeled it around tha yard to make sure it was rotating, but when I attached it to tha clocks I got nothing.

Then I took it on tha road, and there we go, it works.
I just don't think they're very responsive at low speed.
Hope that helps Wink
