My dads downpipes were shot to bits with rust and holes. Hes got a MTC end can or something along those lines cant remember the name, just replaced the downpipes with stainless steel ones, looks and sounds the works now.

Will be a great improvement when you get the new system up and running Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I did the same thing with my Thundercat.
Its a pretty easy process taking off the old downpipes and fitting the new ones. Two main things to watch out for tho

1 - The bolts that fix your downpipe heads into the cylinder have been exposed to some extreme heat and are very brittle, be careful not to shear them. If you do a tap'n'die set can restore the thread if its still got a decent amount left showing

2 - The gasket that goes between your exhaust can and the end of the downpipes is a b@$t@rd to get on and is damaged very easily, best thing to do is find a pipe that has a diameter just inbetween the gasket and the downpipe and use that to gently force the gasket on.

Hope all goes well
