Just thought I would post what I think of being a biker so far as I have been only riding for a some months now..... (bit pontless but im board lol)

What I love......

Explaneing how much money im saving on road tax/petrol e.c.t

When cars are in traffic and im just going past knowing that they are stuck for about 5-10 min

Quick and easy to clean

So much more fun than any of my cars.

getting a full tank of petrol from the change in my wallet.


What I don't like

rain

having to get changed to go out

messy hair (although im shaving my head again tonight so no longer a problem)

Not feeling all that save when going over drains and being on the look out for crap in the road or just bad roads..... I hate it when a hourse craps in the road .

No boot.

All in all im soo glad that I sold the car and got the bike dont think i will ever go back.

When riding I cant help but note that i have found some car drivers very nice to bikers by givving you room e.c.t. I have also found that there are many car drivers that just take the piss or honestly dont know that you're there and i dont think that they know how dangerous it can be. Prats that just dont see you or do see you and just pull out anyway or just think that you dont need much room on streets with cars parked on each side of the road so they swerve out quite a bit.............. im gonna stop because this might turn in to a rant lol

But lets say i love it and the good points out way the bad.

that happens alot even tho im riding a 50 lol!!

I like the freedom of a bike, dont have to go round town for 30 mins to find a parking space, i just whip it almost anywhere.

I hate people who find it funny to brake test you, say there going along doing 30 and so are you, got a 2 second gap, then they just plant brakes on and traulls along at 15. Not very funny when they keep doing it, and there isnt really space to try overtake or you think hes going to hold you out like a prick.

I like the feeling of being self dependant. =]
