Seeing that it was my birthday recently, I decided to treat the bike to some goodies. Aftermarket levers are a bit of a hit and miss thing to me. I never really saw the point of them purely because I thought they were too chavvy and extortionate. However, after finding out that I'll be doing a lot of mixed communicating and filtering, I found that my clutch hand was getting tired due to the overstretched span I reconsidered getting aftermarket levers. M&P/Busters were doing techtraks for £40 per lever but after trawling ebay, I came across a seller called AUCTMARTS from Hong Kong.
Anyhow, These are the levers I bought
Fitting and installation was relatively easy on the 929. It did involve some fiddling about to get some clearance access for the tools but it was a doddle... Plenty of videos out there on youtube which is what I used for reference.
Either way, these here are the photos of them fitted to the bike

Brake levers

Overall impressions:
They seem to be well made and definitely good value for money. They're about the same price as a single OEM honda lever but with additional adjustability. The clutch is now featherlight even with the adjusters dialled out to the maximum span. There's not a lot of play in the levers where they mount onto the controls which is good. I'm also starting to do more 2 finger braking since the geometry of the levers make it easier to accomplish.

The levers look well built with a nice action to the adjusters. It's hard to believe that this thing is machined from billet. I think the techtrak ones are cast so it makes these a good buy.
Overall I'd say, save your money over pazzos and spend the remaining 100 quid on a hooker/cocktails/mephedrone or whatever floats your boat. you can get some stickers that say "Spazzo racing" and stick them to the inside of the span if you're at all bothered.

There really isn't too much difference between the cheapo chinkies and the pazzos. The pazzos feature a notch which'll break off in the event of a fall to save the rest the levers.

Even the details of the fixings are almost identical. As a result of this, I don't think, unless they REALLY want to have the pazzo stickers on the back, save yourself the money. If anybody DOES have pazzos on for a 929 Blade, let me have a go on them. OR if you DO have pazzos and think, what the hell, just give these a go and give me a verdict. ____________________ The Tot 2019 Z1000SX - 2007 R1

the shorty ones are better, and are exact reps of the pazzos bar the little pazzoracing sticker ____________________ Blue_SV650S wrote: it was a sh1te wheelie, but it proves that he can get it up in 3rd and can do angles. Just to add, like the tot/titz/whatever I initially thought aftermarket levers where really just a tart factor. I was sceptical, but said if I had spare cash I may give em a try sometime. Well recently doing a lot of riding ive found my clutch hand aching and cramping up from the long reach on the clutch lever. Brake hand is fine as can be adjusted to suit but no such adjusment on the clutch.
Ordered a set of these as they were just too cheap not to try.

Got em fitted today and feels a whole lot easier on my clutch hand. (havent ridden yet, will put to the test tomorrow) They are the shorty version which is fine for my brake hand as I do a lot of two/three fingered braking. Not sure if its going to be an issue on the clutch hand but hopefully not. Time will tell.
Anyways, I ordered them on the 3rd May, they arrived today! Seem excellent quality too. They actually have 3 holes same as Pazzos but they cant advertise them like this due to copyright etc. |

I'm noticing it now with the clutch lever. It's so much lighter with the action. Makes town work in 1st a LOT more bearable. In hindsight, I probably should have gone with the shorties since I'm now finding that I'm braking with just my middle finger! I have mine wound out to position 5 most of the time making middle finger braking dooable |
Try getting one of these suckers!
https://stuntbikestore.com/shop/article_1/Easy-pull-clutch-2.html?shop_param=cid%3D5%26aid%3D1%26
Has 3 setting underneath for the clutch cable.
My clutch on my stunter is like BUTTER, they reckon it's something insane like 400% less effort needed to pull. ____________________ 22/8/08 A2 Passed! Full License Biatch!
