to this:

Clean as a whistle when I got it.....it hadn't even had its first service (it was an ex Honda UK bike).

I have stuck another 1300 miles under it's belt, and all I can say is WOW Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Well it's much more subtle than the SP1.

How do you find it compared to the SP1?

Simple. I open the garage door and its there Smile Smile

Its hard getting used to the extra revs. The brakes are amazing (and SP brakes are pretty damn good). Its just as torquey as the SP1....the later blades make more power and torque at all points in the rev range.

Handling is comparable, though the SP1 is heavier and carries its weight up higher.

To be fair though, the SP1 is a 10 year old design.....for it to be comparable just shows how good it was in its day. I do miss the V-twin rumble though!

I know, I know.....I would have loved to have kept it (lack of garage space and money) Crying or Very sad

It was getting on for 30k miles, and it was at the point where I either had to change it, or keep it as the value on trade-in would have been nothing (it boils my pee when people reckon that a 7 y-o bike with 28K miles is worth bugger all. FFS, thats only 4K miles per year......VTRs go on for miles...its a HONDA! Like my blade....4 years old...done 221 miles when I bought it WTF???
