Help! Nae Tunes.

Hey folks.

I've got a two and half hour drive tomorrow in a ford transit van with no radio. The battery went flat a wee while ago and its locked out.

Some bugger has put the wrong code in to many times. Anyone know how to unlock it?

(Tried disconnecting the battery again TNA.)

I believe you have to ring ford and give them the chassis number etc and they will give you a generic code to put in that will unlock it.

Don't count me on that, its just what i remember hearing from someone a fair while ago.

Thats what it said in the manual, I thought perhaps there might be a sneaky way of doing it. Don't really have time to get in touch with ford... I might email them...

I might just put another radio in too... Mmm, don't know.

Most places charge ten quid.

If its happened before the code may be written on the radio itself, pull it out and look over it.

Or look for a stick in the glovebox.

Ha if I was still working at ford I would do it for free for ya. But alas.
