17 - 21 you can take your A2 test which allows you to ride any bike as long as it is restricted to 33BHP (for this you need a CBT, the Theory Test and to pass the A2 practical test)
21+ you can take the DAS test which is the same as A2, but there are no restrictions (again you need a CBT, the Theory Test and to pass the DAS practical test)
The A2 test is done on a 125cc bike, usually a CG125 or YBR125
The DAS needs to be done on a bike that produces more than 46.6BHP, usually they use a 500cc commuter, GS500, CB500 etc etc
The DAS and the A2 tests are exactly the same, only difference being the bike used to take the test on |
If someone over the age of 21 (i.e. me) takes the A2 test, what are the implications of this? Do I have to sit the DAS instead? ____________________ no regrets, no retreat, no apology.
I've made mistakes in the past, and I apologise for FUCK ALL. |
