Hi guys,

I currently own a Honda CBR 125R. I definitely want to get my test out of the way this summer, and I'm also thinking of selling the 125 and getting a new bike. However, I'm unsure whether to go for an Aprilia RS125/Cagiva Mito, or a Honda CBR600.

I know they are two worlds apart, but my budget is going to be no more than £2000 (if that) and I want something low on the insurance but still get good performance.

What do you lot think?

Pass the test and get a big bike.

£2000 is more than plenty.

i think if you get a 125 of any kind you would regret it once test is passed ide pass test and then get a 400 or 600

why have you limited yourself to just those bikes?? i agree with above- after you do you test, why stay on a 125 when there is sooo much choice, even with your budget?

CB500, ER-5, etc. i have been told are good, and not quite such a step up as a CBR600. My mates all ride CBRs, and they really can get a shift on.
