Back to biking! Where to Shop?

Not that im that old....

Had a 125 back in 2003 which saw me through to 2004...and then was found by the cops, in lewisham...in pieces fracking thieves!!!
Anyway, i'd moved to central london around that time and stuck to public transport....

that was 4 years ago and i've decided to make amends (pay of student debts and get a new bike...). Got my half day CBT this thursday down in Vauxhall (havent ridden in a few years but i remember all of it...i hope). and then I have my DAS in 2 weeks time (2 days training then the test 16-18th). I was pretty set on getting a thundercat or an R6 but insurance wise this may not be the best thing (been quoted around the 1.2k mark) so ive decided to go for a cbr, which ive been quoted around the 400 mark (2001, tpft....which is alot healthier for my wallet!). Only place I know to look is really just Bike trader but was wondering if you guys could point out any other places in or around london wheer i could pick up a 2001-ish CBR 600 for around 2-3k.

Been developing the old habit of frothing at the mouth with anticipation of getting back on two wheels
