If I remember right, this guy was threatening to set of a handgrenade as well.

As much as it pains me to say it, the guy practically had it coming although the police could have handled it a bit less dramatically.

Crimp the fuel line on the bike, let him get 100m down the road where he is clear of the civilians, can't do much with a grenade when you've got no one except yourself to blow up with it Wink

Its hardly a police against bikes story, the guy said he had explosives, had been holding hostages and robbed a bank or something.
