i've jsut had all my panels repaired after a slide at christmas. unfortunately no one makes crash bungs for my bike so some bloke in the US has started making them

they have been tested in real life situations and seem to work.

they work out roughly at £75 shipped to the UK, is this an ok price for both the rubber bung and bracket to attach to the frame?

no, that's ridiculous, 10or 20 quid is all you should pay off ebay,
make them fit your self. then spend the 50quid leftover on gas.

I priced them up for my Bandit 650, going rate for new items was about £90. I bought a used (but in good condition) pair off of Ebay for £25.

Expensive yes but they do make them. I'd be more inclined to trust them over some stuff made by a bloke in the states.

Some R&Gs, as suggested, you do have to cut the fairings.

£75 is about what you'd expect to pay for 'big name' bungs.

I'd take personal user reviews of crash bungs over a brand /
Apart from R&G owners anyway Smile, who I always add a pinch of salt to their opinions; as too many seem to still endorse the product even when it's caused more damage than not having a bung fitted in the first place Rolling Eyes.

thats because they are huge great lumps of plastic. Bars are probably better on a bandit.

May be necessary. hmm. It'll be unseen though. On the actual homepage bit for yours it said you didn't need to mod the fairing. Odd.

The big R&G's are about 65 quid, I think the smaller ones are cheaper.
