I'm just wondering what would happen if it got jammed between the chain and rear sprocket. If they could make sure that the block would never move it seems okay.

Yeah, looks like a great idea, but what happens if something on it fails. It'd be like chucking something into your back wheel/sprocket.

Looks very interesting and only £20 from what I can make out.

yeah its £20 for the part which you fit to a regular scottoiler.

I would assume they last quite a while as it runs on the film of oil it creates.

I think I might buy one of these too, was going to buy a dual injector but this looks better so I might get this instead. The dual injector is £20 too.

not sure I'd be so confident, even the best of plastics wont stand having a chain dragged over it at high speed with a fair bit of heat for a long time even with oil.
Call me a cynic but they are aiming to make money out of these things Wink

But whether the cleaner, better oiled chain will last longer and so offset the cost.. guess we'll see.

Not sure i'd trust the arrangement not to end up locking the back wheel though personally.

Just asked my Dad about them...

Turns out they haven't been that great. Chains move and bounce around to much for them and they apparently end up breaking. People have been getting there money back for them breaking too.
