Hi,
i have a 2000 speedfight 2 100cc, its been fine since i bought it, had a little trouble where the engine would cut out on me and then bog for 10-15 minutes, if i were to leave it for that long and then turn it over it would be fine again and i could ride off, i think i found the problem, something electrical, i gave the carb a clean and the wires under the front panel and it seemed to be cool; but. I was riding down a dual carriage way probs around 60 (by the way does anyone know top speed for a standard speedfight?) It was vibrating pretty hard aswell then all of a sudden it cut out on me, found out after inspection that the piston rings were ruined and the piston was ruined. i got a new kit and fitted it all but there is more. I've had pretty much everything off it, carb, reed and the fan thing on the right hand side, the thing won't start through the electic or the kick but does when i put a drill on the plate behind the fan and spin it, it will start but it won't tickover, i haven't got the air box on it so that may explain why when i can ride it wen ive started it with the drill, it keeps cutting out whenever i pull the throttle more then half the way. I was thinking it could be the CDI. does anyone have any ideas please.
Thanks Confused
