Hi all, started my bike and the display said cold so let it warm as standard. Got to work and looked down and the display said 115!!!! I was like wow.

Any idea what that means?????

Hi

Presume you mean the temperature read out. As such either the engine is seriously overheated (and I would be surprised it hadn't seized sat at that for any length of time) or the sensor is not reading correctly.

yes. No literally a couple of minutes to work. I've just got it. Do you think it's outta coolant?

Where do I top that up>

Hi

It shouldn't be using coolant, so if the level has dropped dramatically then there is probably a fault. In use it doesn't take long to warm up, hence a dead water pump / too thick coolant / anything else stopping the coolant circulating will result in the temp going up rapidly.

just a little update on the whole situation. The bike overheated on the way home, followed by a mile push.

Do you think getting the AA out tonight will be the call as I am with them. I suppose they could always get it to a garage.
