Is it the same as with cars. When you buy a brand new bike do you not have to M.o.T. it for three years?

Failed on.....

Head Bearings need replacing.
Front Wheel buckled. (Get from breakers).
Rear shock, Fucked. (Picking new one up Thursday).
Rear brake caliper piston siezed. (Also from breakers).
No rear reflector. (See, Motormania's good for something - I think).

Not too bad really. Only the wheel thats a real problem. When I had my moped MOT'd it was gonna fail for fucked front brake pads and rear shock, I gave the mechanic an extra fiver and told him I'd sort 'em out, which I did 2 days later. If I had to have another MOT it would have cost me another £15.

You should get a free retest within a week if you want.
Many people put the bike in for an MOT to see what's wrong with it then sort the probs out.

Thats all mines failed on. First time they put one on and passed it (charged me £1 tho Confused ) second time me and Keith bodged summat before.
