Last year we went on a holiday to Spain, and on the way back home we went right through the French Alps, and the place was simply jaw dropping.

There were so many bikers there from all over and we came across The Polish, Americans, Germans, French, Spanish, Swedish, Italians etc all geared up on the bikes.

We went in the car and took about a week from one end to the other and went from camp site to camp site and stopped in all the little hick towns on the way/

we were stuck in the car so i can only dream what it would be like to do a bike tour of this place but iv put a link in this post of some of the pics i took while i was there to show you what it was like.
Weather was scorching hot aswell!

Cheers, Jon

The last pic looks like the lake at gorge du verdon- is it??

I used to live down near there... its a fantastic place to ride. Not only do you have the amazing roads around the gorge, you're really near to the start of the route napoloeon, one of the best biking roads in the world.
