Welll......

some of you may have seen this bike for sale in the For Sale section.

it was on eBay with 30+ watchers and 1 day to go... only for my mate to wake up this morning and the f*cking thing has been stolen.

his eBay account isn't registered to his new home address, and nobody's emailed his asking for the address so they can come view the bike etc.

now... the bad news. the bike wasn't insured Sad as you can tell, my mate is gutted Sad

bike was from Weston Coyney area of Stoke On Trent.

Am gutted for him.

I'm near that area, what's his reg plate? Can't make it out from the ebay pics.

I'll keep an eye out, hope he gets it back.

I've bollocked him over and over, he smokes a lot of Skunk which gets on my tits as it makes him slow and lazy.

tried and tried my best to get him to do his test instead of riding illegally, his response "i'm skint, can't be arsed"

his alarm started to not work, I told him to WD40 everything and check the fuses, his response "can't be arsed"

found a cheap oxford chain, lock, and ground anchor kit for him on eBay, his response "too skint, i'll get it another day"


so, reckon he's learned his lesson and paid through the nose for it?

Saying that I had my CG125 chained to a plastic pipe with an Oxford for 14 months, then the GS500, then the VFR chained to the GS...

But I've not heard of anyone having a problem round here at all to be honest, just being overly paranoid Very Happy

Having said that too, i've chained my bike onto a plastic pipe and got a bollocking from ONE neighbour about it! What a selfish cunt who only cares about his home insurance that even aint on HIS building!

I was feeling quite sorry for him until I read this bit, which unfortunately had made me feel a lot less sympathetic about it. Definitely a case of 'what comes around goes around'.

I feel sorry for him but cant help but think its his own fault.

is he crazy? a 3.5k bike like that which is completely amazing.. and he didn't want to keep it locked up? If that was my bike i would make dam sure it was in garage locked up and chained to the wall...
